Preparation & Usage
Everything you'll need: For brownie batter: 1/3 cup vegetable oil 2 tablespoons water 1 egg For cookie dough: 3 tablespoons butter, margarine or spread,* softened *Spread should have at least 60% vegetable oil. 2 tablespoons water 1. Heat oven to 325°F for nonstick or aluminum pan or 350°F for glass pan. Grease bottom of pan. 2. Stir brownie mix, oil, 2 tablespoons water and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Spread evenly in pan. Stir cookie mix, softened butter and 2 tablespoons water in another medium bowl until dough forms (dough will be stiff). Drop cookie dough by 9 rounded tablespoons onto brownie batter in 3 rows of 3. 3. Bake as directed below or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool completely. Store tightly covered. Nonstick - Oven temperature: 325°F; 8"x 8" or 9"x 9" pan: 34 to 39 minutes Glass - Oven temperature: 350°F; 8"x 8" or 9"x 9" pan: 37 to 42 minutes Aluminum - Oven temperature: 325°F; 8"x 8" or 9"x 9" pan: 37 to 42 minutes High altitude (3500-6500 ft): Bake 40-42 minutes. o cut warm brownies easily, cut with plastic knife using short sawing motions.
