Preparation & Usage
Brewing tips Use filtered water at 195-205°F with a coffee to water ratio of 1:15 for an intense mouthfeel or 1:18 for a smoother experience. The brew time varies from 2 to 4 minutes according to the size of the batch. Drip coffee Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee for 6 fluid ounces of water. Adjust to your liking. Chemex Slowly pour water on coffee in circles. Stir the coffee bed halfway through the session for an even extraction. French press Add ground coffee to the vessel and pour water to fully saturate the coffee bed. At the 2-minute mark, stir and after 4 minutes plunge and serve.
