Ingredients
1 (12-count) package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
Crunchy fried onions, to taste
¾ lb provolone cheese
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
Au jus seasoning, prepared according to package directions
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected as a sheet. Place the bottom half on a parchment-lined baking sheet for easier cleanup.
- Layer the roast beef over the bottom half of the rolls, folding the slices slightly instead of laying them flat. Add crunchy fried onions, if desired, and bake for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the roast beef is warmed through.
- Top the roast beef with provolone cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese. Combine the melted butter and garlic powder, then brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for another 5 minutes, or until the tops are warm and lightly golden.
- Prepare the au jus according to the package directions, simmering the seasoning with water until heated through.
- Slice the sliders into individual portions and serve warm with au jus for dipping.
