About ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc.
When ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc., (SRS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wakefern Food Corp., was established in 1986, it consisted of just four stores – three in New Jersey and one in New York. Today, led by President and Chief Operating Officer, Steve Savas, SRS includes 32 stores - three in New Jersey, one in Pennsylvania, and 28 in New York, and is dedicated to building and maintaining shopper loyalty by connecting with customers through outstanding service and a commitment to community giving.
Community Outreach
SRS is committed to the communities where we conduct business and partners with non-profit and governmental agencies to assist those in need within our communities, including local food pantries, senior citizens and children. Among the organizations ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. supports are parent-teacher associations, children’s sports leagues, Boy Scout/Girl Scout Councils, religious organizations, fire, police and rescue departments, DARE programs and local school districts.
