Preparation & Usage

To take better care of your purchase, please follow these recommendations to ensure best performance results. Use & care Before first use: Remove all labels. Wash pans in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. GoodCook® Stainless Steel cookware is safe for dishwashers, but hand washing is recommended for best performance. Stovetop use: GoodCook® Stainless Steel cookware is designed for use with all conventional stove tops, including electric, gas, ceramic, glass, and induction stoves. Follow recipes carefully during food preparation to ensure best cooking results. Oven use: GoodCook® Stainless Steel cookware is oven safe to 500°F (260°C) without lids and 450°F (232°C) with lids. Please use caution when handling pans during oven use as handles will get hot. When lifting handles and lids, or when removing pans from the oven, use oven gloves or mitts for your safety. Can be used under broiler without glass lids. Please note: food can burn faster when placed under broiler. Cleaning: For best cooking results, always keep your cookware clean. Allow pans to cool prior to washing. Submerging hot pans in cold water can cause cookware to warp. Do not use abrasive cleaners when washing. Doing so can cause damage to the exterior and interior of cookware. For best results, hand wash with non-abrasive cleaners and liquid dishwashing soap. GoodCook® Stainless Steel cookware is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to maintain its finish, which can be dulled by harsh detergents used in dishwashers. This dulling should not affect the performance and operation of your pan.
