Directions for use: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Read all precautionary statements before use. For crystal clear pool water, follow the HTH™ 4 step pool care program: Step 1: Test and adjust pool water balance, Step 2: Sanitize, Step 3: Shock treat your pool at least once a week, and Step 4: Add algaecide regularly. How to use: Always apply chemicals separately. Never combine them. This product works best when added in several places directly to the pool water with the pump running. Continue to keep the pump running for several hours after addition of algaecide. Wait 15 minutes before entering pool. Pools with heavy growth of algae must be cleaned prior to using this product. Initial dose: Add this product to pool water at the beginning of the season. Use the following dosage recommendations based upon pool size. Pool size, gallons: 1,000; Dosage, fluid ounces: 0.4 fl oz Pool size, gallons: 2,500; Dosage, fluid ounces: 1 fl oz Pool size, gallons: 5,000; Dosage, fluid ounces: 2 fl oz Pool size, gallons: 10,000; Dosage, fluid ounces: 4 fl oz Pool size, gallons: 15,000; Dosage, fluid ounces: 6 fl oz Maintenance dose: Add this product to pool water at 3 - 5 day intervals. Use the following dosage recommendations based upon pool size. Pool size, gallons: 1,000; Dosage, fluid ounces: 0.1 fl oz Pool size, gallons: 2,500; Dosage, fluid ounces: 0.25 fl oz Pool size, gallons: 5,000; Dosage, fluid ounces: 0.5 fl oz Pool size, gallons: 10,000; Dosage, fluid ounces: 1 fl oz Pool size, gallons: 15,000; Dosage, fluid ounces: 1.5 fl oz Visible algae: If the pool has slight visible algae growth, treat with the "Initial Dose" Vacuum pool after 24 hours to remove algae debris. If visible algae are still present or re-appear, repeat this treatment as necessary. When pool is free of visible algae, use the "Maintenance Dose". Closing your pool: When swimming season is over add an initial dose of this product. This dosage helps control algae growth during the winter months and aids the servicing of the pool before it is returned to use the following summer.
