Preparation & Usage

Where to use: Bed frames, mattresses, box springs, carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture, luggage, and pet bedding Read entire label and use accordingly. Shake well! Directions for use Always read label directions and precautions prior to use. Shake well before use and periodically during use. For optimal spraying, adjust the spray nozzle to the on position. Point the spray nozzle away from face and spray holding the bottle upright. Maggie's Farm Bed Bug & Flea Killer has a light scent of the natural plant oil active ingredients and contains no artificial fragrances. Spray a small area and let it dry to make sure you're okay with the scent before treating mattresses or large areas. The scent may take a few days to fully dissipate. Bed bug treatment: Kills bed bugs and their eggs. For Bed Frame & Mattress Applications: Remove all bedding and wash and/or dry on hot setting to kill bed bugs. Remove the mattress and box spring from bed and disassemble the bed frame. Inspect and then spot spray until damp where you see bed bugs or their signs. Inspect all folds, tufts, seams and edging on the mattress where bed bugs hide. Also inspect the seams and underside of the box spring. Do not apply to the entire surface of the mattress and/or box spring, and do not saturate. Spray cracks/crevices and joints in bed frame, headboard and footboard. Spray bugs directly when possible. Allow mattress and box springs to dry completely before placing back on bed and putting on bedding. Repeat as necessary. For carpet/rug applications: In infested rooms, vacuum thoroughly and dispose of vacuum bag or canister contents in an outdoor trash can. Spray carpet/rug adjacent to, as well as under, the bed and furniture. Spray until damp. Avoid over-wetting carpets/rugs. Repeat as necessary. For upholstered furniture: Inspect tufts, seams, folds and edges, and spot treat where you see bed bugs or their signs. Do not apply to entire surface. Repeat as necessary. Luggage: Inspect and treat luggage if you suspect an infestation. As a preventative measure, lightly spray outer surfaces of luggage when traveling. Flea treatment: Kills adult fleas. For indoor applications: Vacuum infested areas thoroughly and dispose of vacuum bag or canister contents in an outdoor trash can. Spray infested areas such as pet beds and resting quarters, nearby cracks and crevices such as behind baseboards, and localized areas of floor and floor coverings where fleas may be present. Spray until damp. Avoid over-wetting carpet/ rugs. Allow to dry completely and vacuum again. Repeat as necessary. Old bedding of pets should be removed and cleaned or replaced with clean, fresh bedding after treatment of pet area. Do not treat pets with this product.
