Preparation & Usage
Nonstick care tips Do's Pre-season A little seasoning can help to prolong the cookware's life. Safe utensils Use silicone or wooden cooking utensils and avoid metal. Let pan cool Allow pan to cool for a few minutes before washing to prevent warping. Hand wash and dry Hand wash and hand dry to protect the nonstick surface. Proper storage Avoid stacking. If necessary to stack, place a soft cloth in between pans to prevent scratches. Don'ts Cooking sprays Over time, cooking sprays will cause residual build up. Using high heat Cooking with temperatures hotter than 260°C (500°F) can cause loss of nonstick properties. Heating empty pan Without anything to absorb heat, the pan can overheat, and the coating can begin to deteriorate. Improper washing Use soft cleaning materials and avoid abrasive cleaners. Using as storage Storing food in cookware will cause additional wear and tear on the nonstick finish.
