How we make our sauerkraut Our cabbage is grown on a local, family-owned farm in the heart of Wisconsin when the time is right, our dedicated farmers harvest cabbage from the field our cabbage travels less than 75 miles from the farm to our fermentation facility to be shredded and salted, where we add hints of dill and garlic through the natural process of fermentation, our cabbage transforms into Flanagan farm sauerkraut.
