Preparation & Usage
Directions for use Always read label directions and precautions prior to use Drain treatment: Kills eggs and larvae of drain flies, fruit flies, phorid flies, and moth flies. It also helps prevent adult flies from laying eggs in drains. For frequently used drains: Apply the product around the edges so the thick formula can coat the sides of the drain. Use 1-2 oz per drain. For garbage disposals, use 2 oz. For best results, avoid using the drain for at least one hour after treatment, or ideally leave it overnight. Reapply as necessary. For infrequently used drains: To help prevent flies and odors from coming up from the sewer system, first pour 1 to 2 quarts of water in the drain then apply 1 to 2 oz of the Drain & Fruit Fly Killer. To help keep the trap from drying out, apply 1-2 oz of vegetable oil or mineral oil to the drain. Do not flush with water after application of product and oil. If drain gets used resume the treatment. Spray treatments: Put a standard sprayer top on the bottle or transfer to a spray bottle. Spray areas that attract flies such as trash bins and kennels. Do not spray on pets directly.
