Preparation & Usage

Tevrapet® Firstact® Plus for Dogs contains the active ingredients fipronil and (s)-methoprene that effectively kills and controls fleas, ticks, and chewing lice. Tevrapet Firstact Plus for Dogs is waterproof, and easy to apply. Your dog needs to be dry at the time of application and remain dry for 24 hours after application. Directions for use: It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not allow children to apply product. To prevent harm to you and your dog, read the entire label and package insert before each use. Follow all directions and precautionary statements carefully. Use on dogs only. Do not use on rabbits or other animals. Frequency of application Fleas: Tevrapet Firstact Plus for dogs breaks the flea life cycle and controls fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae on your dog for 30 days after application. For control of fleas, which may transmit flea allergy dermatitis, apply this product once every 30 days. Ticks: Tevrapet Firstact Plus for Dogs kills larvae, nymph and adult ticks that may transmit lyme disease, rocky mountain spotted fever, ehrlichiosis, babesiosis, and anaplasmosis for 30 days. For control of ticks, apply once every 30 days. Chewing lice: Tevrapet Firstact Plus for Dogs kills chewing lice for 30 days. For control of chewing lice, apply once every 30 days. Sarcoptes mites: Applied once every 30 days. Tevrapet firstact plus for dogs aids in the control of sarcoptes mites that may cause sarcoptic mange. Continual treatment over multiple months are recommended in conjunction with veterinary guidance for successful treatment of sarcoptes mites. Do not reapply Tevrapet firstact plus for dogs for 30 days.
