Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2/3 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup Daisy Sour Cream
3 large eggs, separated
7 tbs butter, melted, divided
1 tbs powdered sugar
cherries, for topping
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
Directions

1. Whisk flour, cocoa, sugar and baking powder until combined.

 

2. Whisk sour cream, egg yolks, and 6 Tbsp. butter until combined.

 

3. Stir flour mixture into wet mixture until moistened.

 

4. Beat egg whites at high speed until soft peaks form. Gently fold into batter.

 

5. Heat waffle iron. Lightly grease with remaining butter. Pour ½ cup batter per waffle. Cook 3 minutes or until lightly crisp.

 

6. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar, top with cherries, and chocolate syrup. Serve immediately.
