Power Blend Smoothie Recipe

Berry and Oat Power Shake

Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 0 min | Total Time: 10 min | Serves: 4 to 6


  • 1 bag (10 oz) Mann’s Veggie Power Blend
  • 2 1/2 cups antioxidant blend juice, such as berry & pomegranate
  • 2 cups mixed frozen berries
  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup honey


  1. In blender, combine slaw, juice, berries, yogurt, oats and honey; purée until smooth.

Tip: For a nutritious omega-3 boost, add flaxseed oil or ground flaxseed to the smoothie.

Black Bean Burger Recipe

Black Bean Power Burger with Avocado Crema

Serves 6


Caramelized Onion

  • 1 yellow onion, halved, peeled and cut into ¼-inch slices
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Kosher salt to taste

Avocado Crema

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • Kosher salt to taste


  • 1 ½ cups Mann’s Power Blend
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1 15-ounce can black beans, drained
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup bread crumbs (use ½ cup of Gluten-Free bread crumbs for GF Option)
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 green leaf or iceberg lettuce singles


  1. Begin by caramelizing the onion. Heat a medium saucepan on medium-high. Add oil and onion, then reduce heat to medium. Saute, stirring occasionally, until onion is soft and light golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. Season with salt, remove from heat, and set aside.
  2. While the onion is cooking, prepare the avocado crema. In a food processor, combine avocado, sour cream, lime juice and a pinch of salt. Process until smooth, then set aside.
  3. To make the burgers, sauté Power Blend for 2 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and stir for 1 more minute, then remove from heat.
  4. In a medium mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a potato masher or food mill. Add sautéed Power Blend, egg, bread crumbs, sriracha, salt and pepper. Stir to combine, then form mixture into 6 patties.
  5. Cook patties in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, about 5-6 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
  6. Place 1 burger patty on top of 1 green leaf lettuce. Top with a couple spoonful’s of the caramelized onion and a dollop of avocado crema. Wrap burger leaf around the patty, close with a toothpick, and serve.

Veggie Bacon Skillet

Veggie Bacon Skillet

Serves 4


  • 2 tablespoons hot chili oil (ex. Dynasty)
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 ¼ cup Mann’s Power Blend™
  • 2 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 green onions, white and light green parts thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons spicy crema (recipe below)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Warm a 9-inch non-stick skillet (or cast-iron skillet) over medium heat then add chili oil to coat the pan.
  3. In a bowl whisk together eggs, water, and flour until smooth. Add Mann’s Power Blend™, bacon and salt; stir to combine.
  4. Pour vegetable-egg mixture into skillet. Cook on one side for 5-6 minutes or until lightly golden brown.  Use a rubber spatula to lightly pull away the contents of pan from the sides, flip contents and transfer pan to oven for 15-18 minutes or until eggs are firm set.
  5. Drizzle with spicy crema, sprinkle with green onion, and serve.

Spicy Crema

  • 1 ¼ C Mexican crema
  • ¼ TSP Cayenne pepper
  • 2 TB Sriracha sauce
  1. Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix to blend.
