Teriyaki Marinated Chicken

Posted by

Did you know ShopRite has its own brand of marinades? They are fabulous. There are a TON of different flavors. Being Mommy to an almost 1 year old, these are lifesavers. It’s so easy to throw the chicken in the bag with some marinade and let it soak up the yummy juices while I get to play with my daughter.

For this recipe I chose to use the ShopRite Teriyaki Marinade with Pineapple Juice with chicken drumsticks. It was fantastic!

The taste was throughout the whole drumstick. The trick to marinating any type of meat is to poke it with a fork all over to let the juices penetrate the meat. I served this with some fresh grilled pineapple.

Teriyaki Marinated Chicken

4 chicken drumsticks
1 bottle of ShopRite Teriyaki Marinade with Pineapple Juice

With a fork poke drumsticks all over. Place drumsticks in a bag with the marinade. Use as much marinade as you want; I used just about a half of bottle.

Pre-heat grill to about 350 degrees and cook drumsticks over indirect heat for about 45 minutes or until meat starts to suck into the bone.

If you choose to serve pineapple with the chicken, place pineapple slices on the grill for about the last 5-7 minutes of the drumsticks cook time, grilling for about 3 minutes on each side.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As a POTLUCKTM blogger, I received the ShopRite Teriyaki Marinade with Pineapple Juice from ShopRite for free.
