Perfect Finger Food for Game Day Tailgating

It’s unquestionably more American than apple pie — throwing the pigskin around on asphalt, absorbing the sharp pain on your fingers as you make a catch, and soaking in all the sights and smells of the most coveted game-day tradition. Yes, we’re talking about tailgating.

With college football winding down and professional football’s playoffs approaching, tailgating is still going strong, despite the increasingly icy and brisk winter conditions. But for many, this is truly football weather at its finest.

The secret to a successful tailgate is more function than flair. Preparing elaborate spreads of delicious finger foods in advance may be more practical for those unwilling to lug around a weighty grill. The idea is to pack as much flavor as you can into a small, portable dish.
ShopRite has an excellent premade selection of tailgating treats, including wings, cheeses and grilled favorites. For those willing to step outside the game day norm, try cooking up a dish that is not only different, but delicious as well!

We recommend our bacon-wrapped chicken dippers!
