Okay, so do we all have the same resolution? Is everyone on a diet now? It’s January so a lot of us are trying to be healthy and get fit. I’m one of those people. I’m in the midst of trying to clean up my act after a long holiday season of too many Christmas cookies. How am I doing that?With really healthy breakfasts like this Glowing Skin Green Smoothie. Not only is it a complete meal that’s super fast to make, but the coconut water and avocado will work wonders on dehydrated winter skin (a huge bonus!). So here’s the recipe:
GLOWING SKIN GREEN SMOOTHIE
8 oz. cup plain coconut water (no sweeteners added)
2 frozen ripe bananas, previously peeled & sliced
1 cup ShopRite Frozen Chopped Pineapple (or fresh pineapple)
1 cup ShopRite Frozen Chopped Mango (or fresh mango)
2 cups spinach
1/2 avocado, sliced
1 tbsp. ground flax
Put everything in the blender and puree until silky smooth. Add more coconut water if everything doesn’t come together easily.
