ShopRite’s Handmade Woodfired Pizzas – A delicious quick workday meal!

Posted by

I love making my own pizzas, making my crust using dry active yeast, letting the dough rise, and topping it with delicious ingredients, including sometimes ShopRite’s basting oil.  But it really does take some time, and it’s not a project I have time for during the week after a busy day when I first get home at 6:30 or 7:00 from work as a lawyer in the city. I try to cook as much as possible during the week but I just can’t do it every night.  And those nights when I just can’t cook are the perfect nights for ShopRite’s handmade Woodfired Pizzas!

I was excited to get a box of the pizzas in the mail (packaged in dry ice of course) to try as a member of the Potluck blog panel.  Pizza is one of my favorite foods.  We can order a pretty good takeout pizza in Brooklyn but honestly its expensive.

I was impressed with the quality of ingredients on ShopRite’s pizzas that I tried so far, the goat cheese/roasted pepper pizza and the four cheese pizza.  Both were delicious and it was hard to believe it was actually a frozen pizza.  These are high quality products that make your weeknight easier on those nights when you just don’t have time to cook.  The pizzas are great for splitting for two people and take about 10 minutes in the oven.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As a POTLUCKTM blogger, I received the ShopRite Imported Frozen Pizza from ShopRite for free.
