Margherita Pizza to the Rescue!

Posted by

On a night when my husband was off to hang with some of the guys, it was just me and my boys for dinner.  What to do?  Luckily, ShopRite had sent me some of their new imported frozen pizzas to sample!

I heated up my pizza stone in a 450 degree oven, then reduced the heat down to 400 when I added the Margherita Pizza.  We prefer our crust a bit crispier, and I have found this method to work really well when we bake a frozen pizza.
This is one of my favorite types of pizza, lots of diced tomatoes and slices of mozzarella scattered all over the top.  Then, there were the slivers of basil that were scattered across the pizza.  As the pizza was baking, the aroma was wonderful!  Just like I would expect if I were to bake one up from scratch.

We devoured this pizza within moments if cutting it into slices!  The flavor was spot-on and the crust was very tasty.  I will be adding the ShopRite Imported Pizza to my shopping list for those nights when we don’t have a plan for dinner and want something satisfying and full of flavor.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As a POTLUCKTM blogger, I received the ShopRite Imported Woodfired Pizza from ShopRite for free.
