White Bean Sage Dip and a #WellnessWednesday Tip!

For those following a gluten-free diet, it can often be difficult to find healthy snacks and appetizers. With the summer quickly approaching, one thing for sure is that there will be a ton of barbecues on our schedules! Navigating your way around a cook-out when trying to stay healthy can be hard enough, but it’s that much harder if you happen to be gluten-free as well!

Beans are a GREAT gluten-free option that are not only affordable, but also a wonderful source of protein.  I threw together this tasty white bean sage dip that could be a perfect take-along to any upcoming event. Serve this alongside some fresh veggies for a delicious and nutritious snack!

Wellness Wednesday Bean Dip

Don’t like sage? Feel free to switch it up and add in some roasted red peppers for a different take on this recipe!

White Bean Sage Dip

Ingredients:

  • 2 (15 oz) cans cannellini beans
  • 2 gloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. fresh sage

Directions:

  1. Add ingredients into a food processor ( I used my Nutribullet) and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve and ENJOY!
