After having a baby, I knew I wanted to experiment making my own baby food. It’s so much fun to make things that are fun and tasty for my daughter to eat. It exposes her to so many new flavors she might not get the chance to taste by regular jarred baby food.
The most important aspect for making baby food is knowing that my child is getting the freshest, healthiest ingredients in her food. How do I know that? I’m the only one putting them in!
It may sound overwhelming to make your own food, but it’s quite easy. The good thing about baby recipes I have found is that it makes a ton of servings, so you can just pull them out of the freezer easily and re-heat!
This recipe is appropriate for babies aged 7-12 months to eat. At ShopRite, you can select Certified Angus Beef, which has surpassed numerous tests, so you know you are getting the best cut of meat to pair with fresh vegetables.
It’s very easy to store your homemade baby food, use ice cube trays once the food is made, place into trays and freeze!
This recipe freezes well. When ready to serve, just re-heat for about 1 minute in microwave! It makes about 10-12 servings.

1 USDA choice filet of sirloin, cubed

4 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 small sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
