4 Festive Red, White and Blue Treats To Enjoy All Summer Long!

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, we have the perfect festive treats for all your summer BBQs!

Homemade Firecracker Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Wholesome Pantry Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 package Wholesome Pantry Frozen Blueberries
  • 10 oz Wholesome Pantry Plain or Vanilla Greek Yogurt

Directions:

  1. Place the strawberries in a blender and blend until smooth. If too thick, add 1/4 cup water then blend again. Repeat with blueberries.
  2. Begin by adding the blended strawberries to the bottom of the popsicle molds, filling 1/3 of the way full. Place in freezer for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from freezer and add a layer of yogurt. Fill popsicle molds the rest of the way with the blended blueberry mixture. Stick popsicle sticks into molds and place in freezer. Allow to freeze for several hours.
  4. To remove: run warm water over popsicle mold for 30 seconds, then gently wiggle the popsicle free of the mold.

Patriotic Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Wholesome Pantry Popcorn with Sea Salt
  • 20 oz white chocolate, divided
  • red and blue food coloring

Directions:

  1. Spread popcorn out in an even layer on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
  2. Divide the 20 oz white chocolate evenly among 2 bowls. Microwave each bowl until white chocolate is melted and smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
  3. Add a few drops of red food coloring to one bowl and blue food coloring to another and stir until desired colors are achieved.
  4. Drizzle melted chocolate over popcorn, using either a spoon or a piping bag. Let sit for at least one hour, or until chocolate has hardened.

Red White and Blue Dipped Strawberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint strawberries, rinsed and dried
  • 1 package (10oz) white chocolate chips
  • blue sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Add white chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until chocolate has melted, being sure to stir every 30 seconds to keep the chocolate from burning.
  2. Grab the strawberry by the stem and carefully dip into melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off back into the bowl.
  3. Place dipped strawberries on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet, then quickly sprinkle with blue sprinkles. Repeat until all strawberries have been dipped and decorated.

Firecracker Fruit Kebabs with Yogurt Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint strawberries, rinsed and dried
  • 1 pint blueberries, rinsed and dried
  • 1 pint raspberries, rinsed and dried
  • 1 package ShopRite Marshmallows
  • 5 oz Wholesome Pantry vanilla yogurt
  • wooden skewers

Directions:

  1. Carefully alternate adding strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and marshmallows to wooden skewers in the desired pattern. Repeat until all fruit and marshmallows are used.
  2. Serve with vanilla yogurt on the side as an optional dip!
