For about 2 servings, use 2/3 cup water, 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, 1/4 tsp. salt* (use less if desired), 2 Tbsp. milk, 1/2 cup Potato Buds(R) Mashed Potatoes; microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. For 3-4 servings, use 1-1/3 cup water, 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, 1/2 tsp. salt* (use less if desired), 1/3 cup milk, 1 cup Potato Buds(R) Mashed Potatoes; microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. For 6-7 servings, use 2-2/3 cup water, 1/4 cup margarine or butter, 1 tsp. salt* (use less if desired), 2/3 cup milk, 2 cups Potato Buds(R) Mashed Potatoes; microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. For 16-17 servings (entire package)**, use 6-1/2 cups water, 1/2 cup margarine or butter, 2 tsp. salt* (use less if desired), 1-1/4 cup milk, entire package of Potato Buds(R) Mashed Potatoes; microwaving is not recommended. Stove-Top Directions: 1. Heat water, margarine and salt to boiling in saucepan. 2. Remove from heat. Stir in milk and potatoes just until moistened. Let stand about 30 seconds or until liquid is absorbed; whip with fork. Microwave Directions: 1. Stir potatoes and salt in microwavable bowl until well blended. Stir in hot water, milk and margarine until moistened. 2. Cover with microwavable plastic wrap, folding back one side to vent steam. Microwave on high as directed or until hot. Remove carefully from microwave-bowl and potatoes will be hot; whip with fork. High Altitude: Because liquids may evaporate faster, increase water amount and cook times if needed. *Sodium content per serving without salt is 80mg. **If making entire package, heat ingredients in 5-quart Dutch oven, and whip potatoes with wire whisk.
