You Will Need: 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg. 1. Heat your oven to 350F if you have a shiny metal pan or 325F for dark, nonstick or glass pan. Grease bottom of pan with cooking spray or shortening. 2. In a medium bowl, stir Brownie Mix, water, oil and egg until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. Bake as directed below or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. If using an 8" x 8" pan, bake 35-38 minutes. If using a 9" x 9" pan, bake 30-33 minutes. If using an 11" x 7" pan, bake 28-31 minutes. Let cool. If you want to cut warm brownies easily, use a plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered. For cakelike brownies, use 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs. For easy cleanup, line the brownie pan with foil for easy removal and cutting. For brownies in a 13 x 9 pan, heat oven to 325F; use 2 boxes of brownie mix, 1/2 cup water, 2/3 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs. Bake 47-50 minutes. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.
