School started in my city a couple of weeks ago and just like that, our low key summer is over. We’re back into homework and fall sports and getting up early.
Packing a healthy lunch for my kids is important to me. Plus, it has to taste good. They won’t eat food that’s boring or bland. Luckily, ShopRite has lots of options for me to pick from, so I can feel good about sending a great lunch to school.
Some of our favorites:
Horizon Organic milk boxes (the vanilla is delicious!) or Minute Maid 100% juice
ShopRite private label string cheese or yogurt
Chobani Flips Greek yogurt
Baby carrots or other veggies with ranch dressing for dipping
All natural peanut butter on whole wheat bread
Hard boiled eggs
GoGo Squeez applesauce pouches
Cashews, peanuts or pistachios
These are just a few ideas. When the weather is hot, ShopRite has bottled water or reusable water bottles to keep kids cool and hydrated, and when it’s cold, a great selection of soups and other hot foods that can be sent in a thermos. My daughter loves spaghetti and mini meatballs in her lunch!
ShopRite is also my Go To place to get paper goods, reusable containers, plastic bags and more.
Have a great school year!
