Easy Meal Prep Meatballs

Forget about hectic weeknights – these easy meal prep meatballs will make dinnertime an absolute breeze!

These meatballs are as versatile as you want them to be! Stick with classic Farm Promise ground beef for Italian-style meatballs, or opt for Farm Promise Ground Pork for an Asian-inspired option. Swap in and out your family’s favorite herbs, spices and flavors for even more variety.

If planning to freeze for a future meal, be sure to let the meatballs cool completely before placing in a freezer-safe storage container or bag. Thaw completely and toss with your favorite sauces and marinades for an easy weeknight meal!

Classic Spaghetti and Meatballs

Easy Classic Italian Meatballs

Yield: about 2 dozen meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Farm Promise ground beef
  • 1/3 cup ShopRite panko bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup Wholesome Pantry milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp freshly chopped rosemary (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until just combined.
  2. Shape into 20 meatballs and arrange meatballs on a shallow baking pan.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through (160°F).
  4. Serve with favorite spaghetti and marinara!

Thai Meatball Noodle Bowl

Thai Pork Meatballs

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 15-20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds Farm Promise ground pork
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ½ cup ShopRite panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until just combined.
  2. Shape into 20 meatballs and arrange meatballs on a shallow baking pan.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through (160°F).
  4. Serve over thin rice noodles with shredded carrot, cabbage, more cilantro and lime wedges!

Swedish Meatballs

Swedish Meatballs

Prep Time: 20 min | Cook Time: 15 min | Makes 30 meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Wholesome Pantry milk
  • 1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 lb Farm Promise ground beef

For the sauce:

  • 2 Tbs Wholesome Pantry butter
  • 2 Tbs flour
  • 1 tbsp beef bouillon paste
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cups Wholesome Pantry milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat egg and 1/4 cup milk in large bowl. Stir in bread crumbs, minced onions, seasoned salt, garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and allspice. Add ground beef; mix well. With wet hands, shape into 30 (1-inch) meatballs. Arrange meatballs in 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
  2. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through. Drain well.
  3. Meanwhile, melt butter in large skillet on medium-high heat. Stir in flour, bouillon granules and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Gradually stir in 2 cups milk. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add meatballs to skillet; cook until heated through
  4. Serve over egg noodles!
