ShopRite $9.99 Generic Drug Program Frequently Asked Questions When did/will this program begin? • Sunday, June 8, 2008. How does this program work? • ShopRite has selected and priced commonly prescribed generic drugs used for maintenance therapy at $9.99 for a 90 day supply based on commonly prescribed dosages. Are all generic drugs included in this program? • Not all generic drugs are included in this program. However, we have selected over 300 of today’s commonly prescribed generic drugs. Will this list of generic drugs ever change? • The list will be updated on an ongoing basis. Check back periodically to see what new drugs may be added. Do I need to sign up for this program? • No, there is absolutely nothing you need to do to participate in this program. Who can participate in this program? • Anyone can take advantage of this program. There are no restrictions based on age or any other insurance you may have. I have a Medicare Part D Plan, can I still take advantage of the savings associated with this program? • Yes, there are absolutely no restrictions to who can participate in this program. How many tablets/capsules will I get for a 90 day supply? • Based on commonly prescribed dosages, you will get an amount equivalent to a 90 day supply. What if my prescription is only for a 30 day supply? • We will contact your physician to request approval to change the prescription to a 90 day supply. Can you bill my insurance along with this program? • You can use either your insurance plan or the ShopRite Generic Drug Program if your prescription is for one of the generic drugs on the list (whichever is less expensive). What if I recently filled a prescription for a drug on the generic list, can I get a partial refund under this program? • If you picked up your prescription prior to June 8th, you unfortunately cannot use this program for that specific fill. However, you can use this program for future refills or new prescriptions.
