Kellogg's / ShopRite American Idol Sweepstakes

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VALID ONLY IN CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, PENNSYLVANIA, NEW JERSEY AND NEW YORK.

1. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 6/29/08 through 7/5/08, purchase any five (5) Kellogg’s®, Kellogg’s® Pop-Tarts® toaster pastries, Eggo® and/or Cheez-It® products (4 oz. or larger – any combination) with your ShopRite®* PricePlus club®* card at a participating ShopRite store located in Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey or New York during the same transaction and you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the sweepstakes. Alternatively, you may enter the sweepstakes without a purchase by hand writing on a 3”x 5” piece of paper your name, address, age, daytime/evening phone numbers, and mail in an envelope with sufficient postage affixed to: Kellogg’s™/ ShopRite®* American Idol** Sweepstakes, Attn: Entry, P.O. Box 185838, Battle Creek, MI 49018-5838. You must include your daytime/evening phone number(s) with your entry, regardless of method of entry or it will be void. Shopper card entrants – be sure your phone number(s) are on file with your shopper card account. All purchase entries must be completed by 11:59:59 PM (ET) on 7/5/08. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by 7/5/08 and received by 7/12/08. Limit one purchase entry per transaction and one mail-in entry per outer stamped envelope. Kellogg North America Company (“Sponsor”) is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, damaged, postage due or mutilated mail. No mechanically reproduced, altered, forged, or facsimile entries will be accepted. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic ShopRite®* PricePlus club®* card entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in these Official Rules.

2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the States of Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Kellogg North America Company, Wakefern Food Corporation, ShopRite, FremantleMedia North America, Inc., 19 TV Limited, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion and other agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. Void outside of CT, DE, PA, NJ, NY or where prohibited.

3. RANDOM DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about 7/15/08 from among all eligible entries received from all methods combined by Sponsor or its designee, the judges in this Sweepstakes, whose decisions are final and binding. Winners will be initially notified by a designee of the Sponsor via phone and he/she will have twenty-four (24) hours from notification to claim the prize. If winner does not respond with this time period, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be randomly selected provided there is sufficient time remaining to award the prize

4. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARV)/ODDS: Two (2) Grand Prizes – One (1) winner will receive four (4) tickets to the American Idols* Live concert in Newark, NJ on 7/30/08; and one (1) winner will receive four tickets to the American Idols* Live concert in Philadelphia, PA on 8/13/08 (ARV $240 ea. winner). Concert to be awarded to each winner will be randomly determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Total ARV of all prizes $480. Transportation to/from the concerts are not included as part of the prize and will be the sole responsibility of the winners. If for any reason outside the control of the Sponsor, the concert is delayed, postponed or cancelled, Sponsor shall have no further obligation. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received from all methods combined. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.

5. GENERAL: Potential Grand Prize winners will be required to sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days after confirmation of phone notification. Guests of Grand Prize winner (if a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) must sign and return the Liability/Publicity Release portion of the winner’s document prior to awarding of prize. If prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. No correspondence will be acknowledged. No cash equivalents, substitutions or transfer of prize permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize is unavailable. Subject to all federal, state and local laws/regulations. Neither Sponsor, Wakefern Food Corporation, ShopRite, FremantleMedia North America, Inc., 19 TV Limited, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion agencies nor their officers, directors, employees or assigns will have any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind or resulting from acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize or participation in the sweepstakes or any prize-related activities. Acceptance of a prize shall be construed as and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use the winner’s name, voice, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further consideration, review, approval or payment, where allowed by law. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect ShopRite®* PricePlus club®* card data, along with any and all electronic, network, computer or other technical malfunctions that may occur upon collection, processing and transmission of data nor for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or in administration of the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the ShopRite®* PricePlus club®* card entry method(s) of the sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted and select the winners by random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the point of the Sponsor’s action. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing, offering or announcement of prizes.

6. For names of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by 9/30/08 to: Kellogg’s™/ ShopRite®* American Idol** Sweepstakes, Attn: Entry, Winner’s List, P.O. Box 185838, Battle Creek, MI 49018-5838. Winner’s list to be available after 7/30/08.
