Charmin Big Game Sweepstakes Official Rules
1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Two (2) ways to enter the "Charmin Big Game" Sweepstakes. (a) To Enter via Wireless: Between 12:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on August 17, 2007 and 11:59 PM ET on November 30, 2007, text message one of the participating message words: “CHARMIN”, “SHOPRITE” or “VOTE” from your wireless phone to shortcode 64242. Once you submit your text, you will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes. Important Notice: You will be charged for each text message sent and received (if applicable) by your handset in accordance with the terms of your service agreement with your carrier. Please consult your wireless service provider regarding their pricing plans. You must be a wireless service subscriber with text messaging service, using a participating service provider in order to enter via wireless entry. You are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with placing a text message entry. Sponsor in its sole discretion may add or delete a wireless carrier at any time, without notice. Limit one entry per wireless phone number. Entries must be received by 11:59PM ET on November 30, 2007. (b) To Enter via Mail-in: To enter by mail, send a 3” x 5” card with your name, address, cell, phone number and e-mail address (if any), and either the word “Red” or “Blue” in a no. 10 envelope to: “Charmin Big Game” PO Box 1181, Northbrook, IL 60062. 2. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to entrants 13 and older as of August 17, 2007. Entrants between the age of 13 and 18 must have a legal guardian accept prize on their behalf. Employees of the Wakefern Food Corporation, ShopRite Stores, Air2Web, Professional Publications, Blue Chip Marketing & Communications, their parent companies, affiliates, and advertising, promotional agencies, employees, and immediate family members of the aforementioned or those living in the same household are not eligible to win. Contest open only to residents of the states of Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. This sweepstakes void in all other states and countries. Void wherever prohibited by law. 3. DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all qualified entrants on or around December 7, 2007, to be conducted by an independent judging agency, whose decision is final and binding. Odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entries received. If a finalist is not eligible, an alternate winner will be selected from all eligible entries. The winners will be notified by telephone and/or certified mail on or after December 10, 2007. 4. PRIZES: (1) Grand Prize – A 4-day/3-night trip for two from February 3 - 6, 2008 to Phoenix, Arizona to attend the 2008 “Big Game”, including round-trip coach air transportation, hotel accommodations (double occupancy), and two football game admission tickets. (ARV: $4,000)
5. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: The grand prize winner (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release along with a W-9 form. In the event the forms are not returned within five (5) days of receipt of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Any prize notification returned to sponsor or undeliverable will result in awarding of prize to an alternate winner. Prize will not be awarded until the Affidavit and Release forms are received. If a minor is selected as the traveling companion, winner must be his/her parent/legal guardian. All travelers must possess required travel documents (e.g., valid photo ID) prior to departure. All travelers must agree to depart and return on dates specified by the Sponsor; dates of departure and return are subject to change. The winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release Wakefern Food Corporation, ShopRite Stores, Air2Web, Professional Publications, Blue Chip Marketing & Communications, their parent companies, stockholders, subsidiaries, franchises, directors, officers, affiliates, employees, and advertising, promotional agencies, and participating manufacturers from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for death, injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in conjunction with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity. Winners must consent to use their name, voice, picture, and/or other likeness without compensation, for promotional purposes as determined by Blue Chip Marketing & Communications or the sponsor. All federal, state, sales, and local taxes, if applicable, of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitutions, prize cannot be redeemed for cash value and are non-transferable except at sponsor’s option for a prize of equivalent value. All decisions made by Blue Chip Marketing & Communications are final and binding. 6. WINNER’S LIST: To receive a winner’s list, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “Charmin Big Game”, P.O. Box 1181, Northbrook, IL 60062. All requests must be received before January 1, 2008. 7. SPONSOR: Wakefern Food Corporation, 505 Division Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07207 The National Football League, its member professional football clubs, NFL Ventures, Inc., NFL Ventures, L.P., NFL Properties LLC, NFL Enterprises LLC, NFL Productions LLC, NFL International LLC and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the "NFL Entities") will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this sweepstakes or any prize awarded.
