Information collected

MyWebGrocer collects the details provided by you on registration together with information we learn about you from your use of our service and your visits to our web site and other sites accessible from them. We also collect information about the transactions you undertake including details of payment cards used.

We may collect additional information in connection with your participation in any promotions or competitions offered by us and information you provide when giving us feedback or completing profile forms. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage which enables us to improve the services we provide.

Access to Retail Loyalty Card information

We will access the information recorded through the use of your retailer loyalty program to help us improve our services, target advertising and make our communications to you more relevant.

For instance, if you use our online grocery service, whenever you buy products at your local grocery store using your loyalty card, we can automatically add it to your “favorite products” list for the online service.

Use of your information and your preferences

We will use your information to provide and personalize our service. We will also use your contact details to regularly communicate with you. We may use your information to send you offers and news from MyWebGrocer and services or those of other carefully selected companies which we think may be of interest to you. Disclosures of your information

Your information may be used by all MyWebGrocer companies. We will never pass your personal data to anyone else, except for any successors to our business and the suppliers that process data on our behalf both in the US and abroad. We may also use and disclose non-personally identifiable information for marketing programs, advertisers and partners.

MyWebGrocer displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click targeted ads meet the targeting criteria—for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.

MyWebGrocer does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.

We may transfer information about you if MyWebGrocer is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, MyWebGrocer will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy by updating this page.

Legal Disclaimer

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of MyWebGrocer terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

ShopRite’s Culinary Workshop

Cook More. Eat Well.

Call it what you want—“Buy local”, “Farm to fork”, “Live local, eat local”—this summer series takes advantage of all that our marketplace has to offer.

You may be enjoying your summer at the beach, or in the backyard, at home gardening, or by the local pool. This time of year—where ever we are—we’re outside more, and are often dining al fresco. This season, at ShopRite’s Culinary Workshop®, we have a great series of cooking classes planned to simplify your summer menus, giving you more time to enjoy the outdoors.

Led by our talented chef instructors, each Culinary Workshop class is designed to be both fun and informative. In our hands-on classes, you will have the opportunity to learn a variety of cooking techniques, learn new applications for using herbs and fruit in addition to gaining insight into the cuisines of the Caribbean, Italy and Spain.

This summer, overcome your fear of cooking with fresh seafood in A Seaside Soirée and Fish for Thought: Seafood 101. Also, learn how to prepare sweet and savory dishes using fresh fruit in our Summer Fruit Takes Center Stage class. And in the Farm-to-Table Feast workshop, we’ll help you put together a complete meal featuring ingredients from right here at home.

And last but not least, we’ll continue our exciting new Cook Right for Tonight series. Our chefs are partnering with ShopRite® dietitians to bring you classes that will give you both the skills and  knowledge you’ll need to prepare healthy, delicious summer meals. Pick up tips from our dietitians on nutrition and better living while our chefs guide you on techniques to make healthy cooking easier and more fun.

We hope you’ll join us to savor the fresh flavors of the season, and take your cooking to the next level! Register for a workshop at your ShopRite® Customer Service desk.  (See the store schedule on page10.)

 Sincerely,

P.S. Don’t forget to register your junior chefs (ages 5–12) for our Kids’ Workshops!
